Women will always consider their hair as part of their esteem, image and personality. An auto-immune disorder, called alopecia areata, is yet another reason for hair loss. This remains a medical mystery. The hair follicles are deprived of the required nutrients due to a sudden inflammation of the surrounding tissues, causing sudden and profuse hair loss.
