My first wife (and only true wife) was accomplished in all so many ways of the world. Her parents were a perfect Methodist couple from Bloomington, Indiana. Sherry and her sister achieved in intellect, music (Grade 8 both but Sherry did not have the ear of her sister who played the organ at the church for years to come and even when returning after months and years away) and the all-important physical beauty.

Her father sent her baby picture at age three in to the Chicago Tribune and I think it placed second. When I met Sherry at the age of 25 (she was 32), it was the moment I had decided it was time to settle down but Sherry thought I was a 'salesman' and all the nonsense people project on salesmen. She was mistaken for Morgan Fairchild some 15 years later and keeps her look religiously, no sun, no baby etc. Top impressarios threw themselves at her feet one day when I left her at the pool of the Diplomat Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. One sent his personal jet (John Merrick of Broadway fame) a month later to Indianapolis to take her to NYC (She declined). Another said he would let her have his Acapulco cliffside mansion that had been owned by Ricardo Montalban - etc. It was a big ego trip for me, I guess it was for her. This kind of thing was not unusual in her life.

Bev (her sister) was a model and on the cover of Seventeen, in Glamor, etc. - she looked like Jackie O. She went into retail and succeeded in this field that preys on insecurity.

Sherry retired this year from teaching I believe. She probably still sits on the teacher's pension fund board and other things that came as a result of me getting her to understand the importance of teaching when she was going to quite after ten years due to burn-out. She had 60 hours towards her doctorate but I got her to take courses that might actually help one to teach - like the Carnegie Public Speaking course and one on Suggestopaedia and many Silva and other courses. She became the media darling and President of her Assoc., NEA and World Congress of Teachers, etc.

Neither of them ever knew real love as I see it!!!!!!!!!!!! Bev may never have even been loved and she had an inferiority complex to beat the band - due to Sherry being so smart and able to compete in Science contests at a statewide level - and the rigid relationship they had with their mother who was totally and forever the center of their father's life. The mother told Sherry (and probably Bev) that she would not have married anyone if she had grown up when they did.
